Privacy policy
The short version: this site does not collect data about you. No cookies, no statistics, no advertising trackers, no accounts.
What happens when you use the site
-
No cookies
The site sets no cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner.
-
No statistics or trackers
There are no analytics tools, advertising pixels or scripts from other companies. Everything the pages need, including the weather forecast, is loaded from getasunrise.com.
-
Your location stays on your device
“Viewpoints near me” asks your browser for your location only when you press the button. The distances are worked out on your device. The location is not sent to us and not saved.
-
Two notes kept in your browser
Your browser remembers the light or dark theme you chose and, until you close the tab, that you closed a side card. Both stay on your device and say nothing about who you are.
-
Server logs
Like every web server, ours records technical data about each request: the IP address, the time, the page and the browser type. We use it only to keep the site secure and working, and we do not combine it with anything else. The server is run by Scaleway in France.
-
E-mail
If you write to us, we use your address and your message only to reply.
-
Links to other sites
Links to Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Google Maps, Google Calendar and social media open those services, which have their own privacy rules. Nothing is loaded from them until you click. The Booking.com and GetYourGuide links are affiliate links: they carry our partner number and the name of the page they are on, and nothing about you.
Who is responsible
The site is run by, and the data controller under the GDPR is:
Bobrowski Media136 Avenue Maurice Donat
06700 Saint-Laurent-du-Var, France
registered in France, SIREN 908 602 071
Contact: contact [at] bobrowski.fr
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it or to stop using it. The server logs and e-mail are handled on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): running a secure site and answering messages. You can also complain to the French data protection authority, CNIL (opens in a new tab), or to the authority in your own country.
If the site starts to collect anything more, for example anonymous visit statistics or a newsletter sign-up, this page will be updated first.
