When the sun rises in this view
This is a view for autumn and winter sunrises: the sun rises inside this frame from late September to mid-March. From mid-October to late February it comes straight out of the sea to the right of Cap de Nice, a minute or two after the official sunrise time.
In late September and early October, and again in March, the sun appears from behind the hill of Mont Boron on the left, up to ten minutes after the official time. From late March to late September it rises beyond the left edge of this view.
